Hullo Cohort 2016 bloggers! Welcome to the literates family at AKU.
I have realised that as ICT emphasizes skills application, it is enabling me to enjoy learning as an adult. This makes me believe that if I use it at our school in most of my lessons, the rate of absenteeism for my learners will go down.
This is because they will be looking forward to attending the interesting and interactive lessons.
What is your take on this view?
From; Enthusiastic Blogger JUSTINE.
thank you Justine i am glad to be a member of this cohort
ReplyDeletelet us enjoy the new technology
Hi fellow Blogger Brendah. Am indeed enjoying the wonders of ICT. I am testimony that Learning in the C21st has no age limit. Thus am ready to Learn, Unlearn and Re learn through Collaborative learning learning and ICT.
DeleteAnd when the rate of absenteeism goes down then performance is likely to get better
ReplyDeleteICT will definitely revolutionize our education systems and awaken learners interest in learning
ReplyDeleteMary dear, thanks for your post.Am praying that God gives us long life so that we can be true change agents as we shall be integrating ICT in our lessons. This will indeed interest our learners since our teaching will be interactive and involving them through out the lesson. So my dear lady lets hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteLydia dear, thanks for your response.Am sure you realise that 'We' of the C20th are better off trying to understand you( and other youngsters) of the C21st so that we adopt the use of ICT in our daily lives even in our teaching and learning process.Indeed once attendance of our learners at school improves, then the contact hours with their teachers will increase, then better performance in the long run.
ReplyDeletehahaha! Justine I love your attitude towards life. yeah! we can as well give our lives and profession a new lease by being change agents. let our grandchildren be glad we took part in a MED programme.
